Rowan holding flowers before and after and work in progress

The purpose of this image is to impress people looking at an exhibition of nature. The subject of this image is the basket of arranged flowers so I used vignetting with a gaussian blur on everything bar the flowers to make it stand out more. I also went over the flowers with the sharpen tool to make them more distinctive. I now think this image is more interesting and has a slightly vintage look so has variation compared to my other photos.

Yellow flower before and after and work in progress

The purpose of this photo is to attract viewers to an exhibition of nature. Originally the subject of this photo wasn't clear, so I made the yellow flower in the centre an obvious focus by duplicating the flower using the anchor point tool and making the background around it de-saturated. I think it is now a more interesting photo and the rain on the petals and de-saturated background gives more substance to the image.

Purple rose before and after and work in progress

This photo is for an exhibition, I edited the photo because originally it was quite dull and the focus wasn't as focused as I'd have liked. Techniques included in this photo edit are vignetting, cropping so the focus of the centre of the purple rose is more prominent and adding brightness to the rose itself and the surrounding grass and leaves. I also used a blur on the leaves and grass so the purple rose stood out more.

Original exhibition images before final selection process

The subject for this photo is yellow roses. It was taken in a graveyard with natural light conditions. The framing could be improved, the focus is on the centre flower. The camera was on macro, cropping out grass may improve this image.

The subject for this image is the fake dead flower in the centre of this image, this could be better by using rule of thirds. Macro setting was on and taken in natural light conditions. Framed quite well around the subject, I don't think this image needs cropping.
The subject of this image is the pink/purple flower. It was taken in a graveyard with natural light conditions. It was framed only around that selection flowers although there is a grave in the background. Macro setting was on, don't think this image needs cropping.
The subject of this image is the pink flower, it was taken in a graveyard with natural lighting. Macro setting on and the camera focused on the subject to blur the background. Cropping around the edges to make the subject more prominent may improve this image.
The subject of this image is the two bunches of flowers but the subject is the one with the light pink colours. Tried to focus in on just the flowers, taken in natural light in a graveyard. Cropping out the red flowers might improve this image.
The subject of this image is the basket of flowers. Taken in a graveyard with natural lighting, framed in the centre as the focus of the image with Rowan holding them in the background. Don't think this needs cropping.
The subject of this photo is the tall arrangement of pink/white flowers. They are framed by the two graves either side of it. Taken in a graveyard in natural light, no specific settings. Don't think this needs cropping.
The subject of this photo is the pink/white bunch of flowers. Could be improved by getting better focus on the flowers because it seems to be on the graves. Graves are used as a frame, no specific setting. Cropping might improve this image.
The subject of this image is the lilac flower. Taken amongst blades of grass at a graveyard in natural lighting. Macro setting was on, focus on the flower. Don't think cropping would improve this image.
Subject is the lilac flower, taken in a graveyard from a group of flowers. No set setting, could be improved by applying rule of thirds/different viewpoint. Cropping wouldn't be needed for this image.
The subject of this image is the 3 brightest holly leaves. Taken from a large holly bush in a graveyard in natural light, dark grass ground as the background, no setting was on. More unique because it's not of a flower. Cropping not necessary for this photo.
The subject of this photo is the yellow flower that's closest in the image, taken from a plant-pot at a graveyard in natural light. Macro setting was used, could be changed by making subject a flower further away or taking from another viewpoint, cropping might improve this image.
The subject of this image is the bright pink flowers coming from a natural plant, rule of thirds used in this photo, macro setting. Taken in a graveyard in natural light, no need for cropping in this image.
The subject of this photo is the basket of arranged flowers, taken at a graveyard in natural light. Could be edited so that the basket of flowers is more prominent, cropping could improve this image.
The subject of this image is the lilac flower, similar to another image but taken from a lower angle. Tall blades of grass in-front of the subject make the image more interesting, taken in a graveyard with natural lighting and macro setting. Cropping wouldn't be needed for this image.
